Cost of college went up for all students at Arizona College-Mesa


Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at Arizona College-Mesa, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Arizona students paid $19,764 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $419 more than the $19,345 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 63 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 160 students received grants or scholarships totaling $559,372 and 132 students took out student loans totaling more than $958,196.

Including all undergraduates (771), 438 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.4 million, and 494 students took out $5 million in federal student loans.
