Gulf Coast Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers is encouraging people suffering from sinusitis to take a self-assessment quiz to determine how the condition is impacting their quality of life.
The Sinus Self-Assessment Quiz enables you to rate symptoms you experience that could be related to sinusitis and receive a variety of treatment options depending on the severity of your issue. Some of the symptoms are directly associated with the sinuses, such as congestion and experiencing nasal drainage, while other symptoms may seem more mental or psychological, such as fatigue or lack of ability to concentrate.
“My practice philosophy is really to tailor our approach to the individual patient to what kind of sino-nasal symptoms they're experiencing and want to fix,” Dr. Matthew Blair told Florida Business Daily. “If you have any experience with any kind of sino-nasal conditions, whether it's allergies, chronic sinusitis or any nasal symptom, they can all be very different. And our practice philosophy is to listen to the patient and see what we can do to help them have a better quality of life.”
Blair is a board-certified physician who specializes in treating patients who suffer from disorders of the ear, nose and throat (ENT). He studied at the University of Miami, where he earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology and immunology, as well as a minor in chemistry. Blair then earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, and he then went on to complete an internship and residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Michigan, where he focused on otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery.
He worked in Louisiana for several years after becoming board-certified, but he was excited to return to his Florida roots to treat patients in the Pensacola area. Blair is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest innovations in sinus surgery in order to provide treatments that are minimally invasive, cost-effective and have quick recovery times.
