Family-owned Hensley Beverage Co. has selected Softeon to implement an Integrated Supply Chain Solution platform for its beverage distribution enterprise, it was announced today from Softeon headquarters in Reston, Virginia.
“We have found the Softeon Route Accounting system allows for very detailed configuration changes to be made and delivered quickly…it provides us with a seamless platform approach for all enterprise functions,” Omar Perez, controller at Hensley Beverage Co., said.
As one of the nation’s largest family-owned and operated beverage distributors, Hensley brings refreshment to consumers throughout Arizona, offering over 2,500 brands of beer, craft brew, fine wine, premium spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.
"From an IT/IS standpoint, we can now deliver data and end-to-end functionality off a cloud-based platform, which would provide high availability with lower infrastructure investment," Softeon’s information technology director Ado Albegovic said.
Hensley Vice President for Operations Tony Keffer identified the pairing of a warehouse management system with operational process improvements as one of the primary factors in the company’s choice of Softeon for their warehouse management system.
“We came away very impressed with the productivity improvements the Softeon system was helping these businesses deliver on a daily basis, including wholesaler operations comparable with our size and scale,” Keffer said. “We wanted improved inventory control and reporting, warehouse mapping, integration to suppliers' shipping and invoicing system voice pick and real time performance metrics. Softeon's Warehouse Management System is expected to meet all of those business needs today."
