CompTIA has been inducted for its efforts for encouraging people to find their potential and building confidence to work in tech and cybersecurity. This honor is given by the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame, recognizing CompTIA's contribution to the field.

The belief that drives CompTIA’s work ethic was recently communicated by one of its top executives. According to Randy Gross, chief information security officer of CompTIA, "Central to our mission is the belief that there is a place for everyone in the tech workforce. Under the leadership and strategic vision of Todd Thibodeaux, CompTIA has established education and training programs and created communities to bring the message of opportunity to all groups, especially those who are underrepresented in the tech workforce."

Gross also expressed appreciation for this significant recognition on behalf of the organization. According to Randy Gross, chief information security officer of CompTIA, "We thank the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame for this prestigious honor, which we proudly share with our members, partners, certification alumni and everyone who makes CompTIA the innovative and vibrant organization it is."

In attendance at this prestigious event were some noteworthy individuals associated with CompTIA. According to a press release from CompTIA, Alex Spigel, the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Choice Cyber Solutions in Owings Mills, Maryland, attended the Hall of Fame ceremony alongside Gross. Spiegel was recognized as CompTIA's 2023 member of the year. Subject matter experts involved in the development of CompTIA certification exams, training partners, and a representative from the certification accrediting organization were also present at the event.

The significance and reach of this certification was also highlighted in a recent publication. According to an article from Cybersecurity Insiders, the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame has acquired over 3.1 million people which is a testament the widespread impact of its certifications. CompTIA expresses gratitude to NCSH for the prestigious honor and looks forward to sharing and celebrating this achievement with its partners, members, and certification alumni in the nonprofit organization committed to delivering professional IT industry certifications.
